2021.12.04 11:18 ASharedRedditAccount Struggle with initialising double linked lists

So Im trying to create an Unrolled linked list whose elements are one array for each list cell.
Right now im struggling with the constructor of the list.
I'd like to call it with just the size of the first array of the first list Cell, like this:

public UnrolledLinkedList (int arraySize) { ... }

It should than create the first listcell object of the list, whose constructor and class looks like this:

private class ListCell {
private ListCell nextCell;
private ListCell previousCell;
private int[] contentArray;

//constructor of ListCell
public ListCell (int size, ListCell previousReference, ListCell nextReference) {
this.contentArray = new int[size];
previousCell = previousReference;
nextCell = nextReference;
}
}

So my question is how do I initialize the first element of the list in my Unrolled list constructor when all the initial information I have is only the size of the first element ? I cant call this:
public UnrolledLinkedList (int arraySize) {
ListCell helperCell = new ListCell(arraySize, null, null) ;
} since it throws mismatching parameter errors.
Thank you for any and all help!

2021.12.04 11:18 lonegunman93 Can I do most things with a Circular Saw vs mitre saw?

Impulse bought a mitre saw on black Friday. I've already got a circular saw and apart from maybe doing some skirting, I don't really have a need for it. Cost me £130 so it wasn't expensive for a Mitre Saw. With regards to doing skirting, I suppose I could get by with just my circular saw and a mitre box?

2021.12.04 11:18 Rainbow_Catto How should I negotiate my salary as an entry-level employee?

I received an offer for an entry-level position in a start-up. During my first interview, I mentioned my desired salary range, but I played it a bit safe because I didn't want them to think I was being arrogant. They've now made me an offer and the proposed salary is at the lower end of the range I had mentioned. I was so happy to receive the offer that I immediately said yes and told them to send me an email with all the details. However, I then realized that the salary they suggested might be a bit lower than the budget they had, and that maybe I should have asked for more. I am thinking that I might ask them if there is room to negotiate the starting salary before I sign the contract. Do you think this is a good idea or is it too late now? If so, how would you phrase it in an email? If not, do you think I should bring this up a few months from now?
A bit of context: - I have 2 master's degrees and I've done 3 internships. - The company is based in the UK but I would be working remotely as an independent contractor (paying taxes in my country). - I am so used to being underpaid that now that I have some leverage I have no idea how to negotiate.
